Summer Camp Zell am See, Austria
Terrific Tuesday-- An Activity-Filled 2nd Day!!
We awoke to a bright sunny day in the mountains this morning! Campers are becoming quite the experts at following the camp schedule and after breakfast we set off to our morning activities: English, German, Film, and Mountain & Lake Adventure!
English, German campers convened in their classes to continue practicing their language skills, meanwhile Film campers continued learning new techniques and began planning their film projects. Mountain & Lake Adventure Campers spent the morning hiking, climbing, swimming, and playing beach volleyball.
After a delicious lunch and our All-Camp Meeting, we split up to do our afternoon activities; Reds spent the remaining of our sunny day splashing around at Niedernsill Lake, Yellows played ultimate frisbee and did a photo scavenger hunt then played volleyball and learned some cool new dance moves, and Blues practiced dance and played kickball all together! What a busy afternoon!!
The weather quickly changed (as it often does in the mountains) and thunder sounded as some dark rain clouds rolled in at dinner time. However, the dark clouds couldn't darken our moods and we had a blast playing indoor games! Yellows had fun finding and deactivating Counsellor "Terminators" roaming around the building, Reds expelled their remaining energy throwing and dodging balls while wearing fancy dress in our fun version of the popular sport, and Blues exercised their brain power solving puzzles, riddles, and finding clues to figure out an exit to our VC Escape Room!
What an incredible Tuesday full of great activities... We can't wait to see what tomorrow has in store for us!
