Fridays are always a special day at Village Camps, therefore today was none other than: (drum roll, please)
Festival Friday!
Today started with our usual morning sessions. English and German classes met in their usual locations for class time. Film filmed and started editing their film projects. Mountain & Lake Adventure went indoor rock climbing (yellows), biking to play mini golf (red and blue boys), and stand-up paddle boarding, a.k.a. SUP (red and blue girls).
After lunch and our all-camp meeting, preparations began for CLASH OF CAMPS. Campers were divided into four teams: Earth, Air, Fire, and Water. Each team had to create a chant and demonstration for their element to perform at the opening ceremony. From there they competed against each other in various wet and wild competitions where teams won points based on performance. The final competition was a tug-of-war between each of the teams. After a gruelling yet friendly fight to the finish, AIR was the victorious team... Way to go!!
After our Clash of Camps we went to the pool for a refreshing dip and chill-out time before returning to camp for a delicious dinner. Just when we thought it wasn't possible to pack more fun into our day, our evening activity was none other than a CARNIVAL!! Campers roamed the building packed full of fun and exciting games where they could win tickets to redeem at the snack bar, on a henna tattoo or a fortune telling... However, there's one thing we already know for sure, our campers' futures sure look bright. We can't wait to see what tomorrow holds!

- Lunch: Pasta, Tomato Sauce with Arugula, Tomato Sauce with Turkey and Arugula, Pumpkin Soup, Salad Bar, Watermelon
- Dinner: Death by Meat- Barbecued Chicken, Beef, Pork, and Cheese, Roasted Potatoes, Roasted Vegetables, Salad Bar
