Summer Camp Zell am See, Austria
International Tuesday
Hi all, today has been the most international day from all, but let me start from the beginning. In the morning language students revised the new vocabulary which they have learnt in this camp so far. Film students were editing, editing and one more time editing. Not only the visual part of their film, but also the sound. They were looking for songs and sound effects to make their films as perfect as possible. Adventurers meanwhile played volleyball and mini golf. After mini golf there was a possibility to go to trampoline and it was just great. The whole morning session was truly enjoyable. In the afternoon the campers were divided in groups in order to prepare a performance / presentation for the International Nights about a concrete part of the world. Central Europe, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Arab nations, Asia and both Americas. Campers could include singing, dancing, sketches about stereotypes, flags, and everything else. Some groups even dressed up in special stereotypical outfits. These performances were showed at the International Night in the evening. Another part of the preparation process was cooking. Few students and staff members made some delicious food from different places and all of us could taste it during the dinner. There were pizza, hummus, sandwiches and even brownies, everyone enjoyed the diversity of flavours which we could all experience together.
- Breakfast: oatmeal with cinnamon, cereals, chocolate musli, milk, hot chocolate, tomatoes, butter, cheese, bread, strawberry / raspberry jamsa
- Lunch: chilli con carne, polenta, salad bar, fruits, chocolate mousse
- Dinner: International menu - pizza, humus, sandwiches, vegetable soup, pancakes
