Reaching New Heights
As usual Football and Tennis campers gave it their all playing their respective, beloved sports! The backdrop to their games was the stunning Alpine vista!!!
During the morning activities, the yellows had another climbing session, where some repeats tried out a different climbing route and some beginners tried their best at reaching new heights. Our young and brave Greenies scurried up the rock-climbing cliffs in record time, impressing our climbing expert Ilja!
After a delicious lunch of everyone's favourite, chicken curry, the Red's walked to Mont Blanc Field to play some water game. Such as, Vortex, when they passed the rope vortex without getting hit, but if they did get hit by the rope, they were splashed with water. Also, Battle ship's where they threw water sponges over a wall, in the hope of hitting the opponent team. Some played hula hoop dance battles and other duck duck wet Goose. The team with the most point where the winners. They absolutely loved playing around with the water, and cooling down in the blazing sunshine.
In the evening, The Blues gathered themselves to hike up to the campfire, where they enjoyed roasting marshmallows with some fondue, and banana boats, singing songs over the campfire, playing Keep Up ( Trying to keep the football in the air, while passing it around in a circle). While the Greenies, prepped for their slumber party after an Olympic race off in the hallway. All of them made a giant piñata which they took turns in destroying, after thousands of hits they finally got it open!! They Told stories, cuddled up with their teddy bears, full of laughter fun and lots of giggles.This slumber party was a true testament to the joy and camaraderie that summer camp brings, creating memories that will be cherished for years to come.
